DaBaby – Essence (Freestyle)
A few weeks after Wizkid dropped the remix ‘Essence’, Dababy returns with an impressive freestyle of Essence.
Wizkid released the remix to his song of the summer, Essence alongside Tems and Candanian singer, Justin Biber. Even since then the song has been dominating the mainstream. Dababy decides to share his own cover of Wizkid’s popular song. Dababy employs the beatz of Essence as he smashes the song with his rap flows.

However, the freestyle has stirred a lot of controversies on social media, most Wizkid fans believe that Dababy wants to hijack Wizkid’s song. Dababy is reluctant about the whole claim as he recently apologises for the hate speech he made during his outing with several HIV Awareness organizations. Recall, the singer has made a Homophophic comment during Rolling Loud Miami in July.
